2nd Annual

The 3rd Annual Paula Creamer Celebrity Classic will be held on Friday, January 9th thru Sunday, January 11th at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.  This years event promises to provide something for everyone with a Celebrity Dinner Gala on Friday evening, Golf Expo and Celebrity Skills Shootout on Saturday and a ProAm Golf Tournament and Tennis Clinic.

The Paula Creamer Celebrity Classic was created by Paula with the express purpose of raising money to support the development a dedicated facility for the First Tee of Sarasota/Manatee that can provide access to golf and the life skill programs that are offered by the First Tee Program to the youth of Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

The following will outline the agenda for the events that will occur throughout the weekend and the different opportunities that are available for you to participate in this great event:

Celebrity Dinner Gala
The event will kick off with a Celebrity Gala with Paula and her celebrity guests at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club on Friday, January 9th starting at 5:00 PM with the VIP Receiption and 6:00 PM for the dinner gala.  Tickets can be purchased for $200/person, which includes the VIP Reception or $150/person for just the Dinner Gala.  There are a limited number of seats available for this and tickets are on a first come first serve basis so don't wait because these won't last long.  For tickets contact the First Tee of Sarasota/Manatee at (941) 993-0046, e-mail us at info@paula4kids.org or you can purchase tickets online by clicking here.

Golf Expo and Celebrity Skills Competition

Saturday, January 10th will offer a variety of interactive clinics, entertainment and competitions for the spectators and will culminate with a Celebrity Skills Shootout.  Included during the day will be a youth golf clinic conducted by Paula and some of here Celebrity Guests, an amazing trick shot demostration by Brad Denton, "Beat the Bogeyman" with Dr. Travis Fox, a Million Dollar Hole-in-One Challenge and a $10,000 Putting Contest where you can show off your own skills.  The Golf Expo events will start at 10:00 AM and will run until 1:00 PM.  The Celebrity Skills Shootout will then start at 1:00 PM.

ProAm Golf Tournament

A ProAm Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, January 11th with registration at 8:00 AM and shotgun start at 9:00 AM.  The ProAm Golf Tournament will pair each foursome with a golf professional in a Modified Scramble Format.  Each team will have the option to bring their own professional or one will be assigned from the list of local professionals that have registered to play in the event.  The price for the event will be $200/player or $750/foursome and will include a continental breakfast, luncheon, team and contest prizes and an individual tee gift bag.  If you would also like to attend the VIP Reception and Dinner Gala on Friday evening you can purchase a VIP Golf & Dinner ticket for $500 which includes One (1) player for golf and Two (2)VIP Dinner Tickets and Two (2) VIP Golf Expo Tickets (a $150 savings). 

The tournament will be followed up by an Awards and Recognition Luncheon at 2:00 PM.

Tennis Clinic
A unique Tennis Clinic will be held on Sunday, January 11th starting at 11:00 AM.  This 3-Hour clinic will provide the opportunity to play with and get instruction from some of the best tennis professionals in the area.  This event will be a Round Robin format to ensure that each participant gets an opportunity to play with and get instruction from each of the professionals.  The cost of this event is $125/player and includes lunch.  Participants must be 18-years of age or older.

The clinic will be followed up by a Awards and Recognition Luncheon at 2:00 PM.
